Know that action wasn't out of meanness (you'll be glad one day when your kids accuse you of that) but out of love.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4941081507035146847.post-45951262255986217072015-04-24T12:47:25.143-05:002015-04-24T12:47:25.143-05:00Red Ant is lucky he has you for a dad, and not my ...Red Ant is lucky he has you for a dad, and not my father. My dad would have worn us out with a belt for not rendering instant obedience. I'm not advocating that, by the way. Your solution is better. Since we have an old house his door wouldn't stay closed without a latch so there were one of those little hook latches on both the inside and outside. Somehow slamming his door the latch actually went into the eye-hook and he was trapped inside his room. The house is prety sound proof too so I never heard him yelling for me to come let him out.

After about 2 hours when I went to check on him and see if he was still mad he was very relieved to see me :)
PioneerPreppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09269878017447335944noreply@blogger.com
