He's got a point. At my age though, I'd be a little leery of the tradition where old people sit under a tree and watch the tribe move off when the seniors feel they can't keep up anymore. ;-)
At least in their society, the elderly were respected and revered for their age and wisdom, not like today's society that worships youth and ignorance.
Now that is an American Indian that deserves a salute.
