Would You Rather...

First, my lack of posting has been due to little substance. I've got a few projects on standby, like the waxing cheese experiment post for JUGM (I haven't forgotten you) and a few other practical prepping preparation exercises. I've tried posted on a daily basis, but after a while I really becomes a chore. I've also thought about closing down shop after three years, but I'm not ready for that either...call it a funk.

I'll step back into the political arena once again.

I took the day off so that I could go to the Cabot water park with my boys summer program, and while we were waiting I was introduced to the "would you rather..."game. Basically you offer two unpleasant choices, and you have to pick one. So, I'm surrounded by a small group of second through fifth graders and it's my turn. They say that the average reading level is on a fifth grade level, and the TV show are you smarter than a fifth grader was pretty popular, so I had my question in mind. "Would you rather have Donald Trump for President or Hillary Clinton". Hillary got the most votes, ergo I'm declaring Crooked Hillary the next POTUS. I'll be voting for Trump, which baffles my wife. Two facts: Protecting my Second Amendment rights and I believe that Donald Trump have the better intentions for America. No matter who wins, there will be protesting...

I'm still saddened that this is the best two candidates that our country has to offer.

If this is the case, then America deserves to collapse. Keep Right On Prepping - K

  1. I don't see how it can baffle your wife? If she cares about White Men at all an you in particular she should be against Hitlery.

    1. She doesn't like either one for President.

  2. I despise people who will vote for Clinton because she is a woman (NOT the first to run for president, by the way). Or because she will bring in thousands more illegal aliens and muslims - who hate women and only want them for their sexual urges). UGH. I do hate that all we have are Killary or Trump. And with courts turning over the ID requirement, I have no doubt that Killary will be president. And at that point, may God have mercy on us, because the liberal progressives certainly will not.

  3. Exactly, prepare for the worst and a huge increase in taxes with the proceeds towards the social experiment.

  4. I didn't vote for Trump in the primary, but I understand the political party process and sure as heck wont be voting for Crooked Hillary. I will vote for the lesser of two evils and not stay home with my football because I didn't get my way in the election.

  5. The only good thing about Hillary winning would be that when everything collapses, the people who voted for her would be the first to be killed by the rampaging mobs, or starve to death.

    1. I worry for my kids, I pray for their future, I prepare for my family, and I hope for the best. The coming pain is going to hurt many people...I'm trying my best to insulate my family while enjoying the sunshine of today.

  6. Wife here, I have no love for either candidate. My favorite meme right now is, "The real problem is, one of them is going to win."
My only comfort and hope will be that this may be the first time an incumbent will not win a second term.
