John P.

A dear friend left this Earth to be with our Eternal Father, and my heart is heavy...I image that he's already setting out the poker chips for the next game.

  1. Sorry to hear of this loss. It is hard when we miss a dear friend or family member, despite knowing they are fine in our eternal home. His work here was done. I am happy for you that you knew and cared for him enough to miss him. It is a high tribute to him. Know also that he touched your life, which was part of his reason for being on this earth.

    1. Thanks for the kind words. He was a good ex-uncle (long story), a friend to all, and an outstanding Texas Hold'em player. The Lou Gehrig's disease progressively took it's toll and the weekly poker games had to stop. He will be missed by many...
