Reminder

Just a small reminder that this is a great time to stock up on sale items for the survivalists, preppers, and sustainers.Check out those sale prices, and set a few things back for the future. You never know.

I like to buy canned pumpkin, sugar, canned cranberries, various canned fruits for pies, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and a few other non-perishable goods during this time of year. What do you buy that is on sale this time of year?

    1. LOL, it's one of the few times a year when some items drop to their lowest prices.

  2. I just noticed that the apple juice my hubby bought (in a bottle, not a can) has a shelf life of about a year unopened. I was thinking of adding a bottle or two to our stores. Love your pantry. Much better than mine! I like your idea of pie fillings and sugar, too. How do you manage to keep it all rotated?
My next purchases need to be some mylar bags, oxygen and moisture absorbers.

    1. The "expiration date", which is just a best buy date, is good for about a year and a half out from the date printed on the jug. I have personally drank apple juice that is 1.5 years past that date.

I wish that was my pantry. I'll do a post on my rotation system within a few weeks. Finals are coming up very soon. God bless.

  3. Haha! I have to say that for me, organization is not easy. I keep working on it, though.
That's good to know about apple juice, too. Thank you!
Looking forward to your post on rotation. Good luck with your finals!
